Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with the immigration and customs procedures. Then, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo. You will have the rest of the day at your leisure to relax or explore the city on your own. Overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your tour by visiting the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will see the three main pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, as well as the smaller pyramids of the queens and the nobles. You will also have a chance to enter one of the pyramids (extra ticket required) and marvel at the ancient engineering. Next, you will visit the Sphinx, the mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, and the Valley Temple, where the mummification of the king took place. After that, you will drive to the Egyptian Museum, the largest and most important museum of Egyptian antiquities. You will see the amazing collection of artifacts, statues, mummies, and jewelry from different periods of the Egyptian history, including the famous treasures of Tutankhamun and the Royal Mummy Room (extra ticket required). You will also have the option to visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), which is expected to open in 2024 and display more than 100,000 objects in a modern and interactive way (extra ticket required). Then, you will have lunch at a local restaurant and continue your tour to Old Cairo, where you will discover the religious monuments of the three Abrahamic faiths: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. You will visit the Hanging Church, one of the oldest and most famous churches in Egypt, which is built on the ruins of a Roman tower. You will also visit the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, where the Holy Family is believed to have stayed during their flight to Egypt. You will also visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest and most historic synagogue in Cairo, which was originally a Christian church. After that, you will visit the Khan El Khalili bazaar, the oldest and largest market in Cairo, where you can find a variety of goods, such as souvenirs, antiques, spices, perfumes, and jewelry. You can also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at one of the traditional cafes, such as the famous El Fishawy. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will fly to Aswan, the southernmost city in Egypt and the gateway to the Nubian culture. You will start your tour by visiting the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that controls the flow of the Nile and provides electricity and irrigation for the country. You will also see the largest artificial lake in the world, Lake Nasser, which was created by the dam. Next, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, a huge granite obelisk that was abandoned in the quarry due to a crack. You will learn how the ancient Egyptians carved and transported these massive monuments, and wonder what would have happened if the obelisk was completed. Then, you will take a motorboat to the island of Agilkia, where you will visit the Philae Temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, the mother of Horus and the wife of Osiris. The temple was relocated from its original site to save it from the rising waters of the dam, and it is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. You will see the pylons, the courtyards, the sanctuaries, and the reliefs that depict the myths and rituals of Isis and Osiris. After the tour, you will fly back to Cairo and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
