Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the immigration and customs procedures. Then, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle. You’ll have some time to relax and freshen up before your evening activity. At night, you’ll enjoy a dinner cruise on the Nile, the longest river in the world. You’ll savor a delicious buffet of Egyptian and international dishes, while watching a folkloric show featuring belly dancers, singers, and musicians. You’ll also admire the panoramic views of the city lights and the ancient monuments along the river. After the cruise, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for overnight

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll meet your guide and driver who will take you to the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You’ll marvel at the three majestic pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, which were built more than 4,500 years ago as royal tombs. You’ll also see the Sphinx, the mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human’s head, guarding the pyramids. You’ll have the opportunity to enter one of the pyramids or ride a camel around the plateau (optional, extra fees apply). Next, you’ll visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest and most modern museum in Egypt. You’ll explore the vast collection of artifacts, statues, mummies, and treasures that showcase the rich and diverse history and culture of Egypt. After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll continue to the Saqqara Pyramids, the oldest stone structures in the world. You’ll see the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the first pyramid ever built in Egypt. You’ll also see the Mastaba of Ti, the Tomb of Mereruka, and the Serapeum, where the sacred bulls were buried. You’ll learn about the evolution of the pyramid design and the funerary rituals of the ancient Egyptians. Finally, you’ll visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. You’ll see the colossal statue of King Ramses II, the alabaster sphinx, and other remains of temples and palaces that once stood in this glorious city. You’ll also learn about the history and significance of Memphis as the political, religious, and cultural center of Egypt for over 3,000 years.After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll meet your guide and driver who will take you to the Egyptian Museum, the old museum that houses more than 120,000 artifacts from different periods of Egyptian history. You’ll see the royal mummies, the animal mummies, the papyrus scrolls, the jewelry, and the weapons that reveal the secrets and stories of the ancient civilization. You’ll also see the famous collection of King Tutankhamun, including his golden mask, coffins, and treasures. Next, you’ll visit the Cairo Citadel, the medieval fortress that was built by Saladin in the 12th century to protect the city from the Crusaders. You’ll see the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the most prominent landmark of the citadel, with its domes, minarets, and marble interior. You’ll also see the Mosque of Al-Nasir Muhammad, the Military Museum, and the panoramic views of Cairo from the walls. After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll continue to Old Cairo, the oldest part of the city that dates back to the 6th century BC. You’ll see the Coptic churches, the Jewish synagogue, and the Islamic mosques that reflect the religious diversity and tolerance of Egypt. You’ll also see the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque. After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll check out and meet your guide and driver who will take you to Alexandria, the second-largest city in Egypt and the pearl of the Mediterranean. Upon your arrival, you’ll start your tour of the city that was founded by Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC and became a center of culture The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the largest Roman burial site in Egypt, where you’ll descend into the underground chambers and see the tombs, sarcophagi, statues, and paintings that blend the Egyptian and Roman art styles. The Pompey’s Pillar, the tallest ancient monument in Alexandria, which was erected in honor of the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century AD. You’ll also see the ruins of the Temple of Serapis, where the famous Library of Alexandria once stood. The Qaitbay Citadel, the 15th-century fortress that was built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You’ll admire the architecture and the views of the Mediterranean Sea from the citadel. The Alexandria Library, the modern reincarnation of the ancient library that was the largest and most prestigious in the world.
