Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the visa formalities and luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo and check in. You will have some time to relax and freshen up before your evening activity.In the evening, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the Nile river, where you will board a luxurious cruise boat. You will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and a variety of entertainment, such as belly dancing, folk music, and a whirling dervish show. You will visit the Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century fortress that was built on the site of the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will admire the architecture and the views of the sea and the harbor.Next, you will visit the Serapeum, a temple dedicated to the god Serapis, a syncretic deity that combined aspects of the Egyptian and Greek gods. You will see the remains of the temple and the underground galleries that housed the sacred Apis bulls.After that, you will visit the Catacombs of Kom Ash Shoqafah, a Roman necropolis that consists of three levels of tombs and chambers. You will see the mixture of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman art and motifs, and the Hall of Caracalla, where the bones of the martyrs were found.

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and be transferred to the airport for your flight to Luxor, the ancient capital of Egypt. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and driver and start your tour of Luxor. You will visit the temples and tombs on both sides of the Nile, starting with the West Bank.You will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried in rock-cut tombs. You will enter three of the tombs (except Tutankhamun’s tomb, extra charge) and see the colorful paintings and hieroglyphs that depict the afterlife of the pharaohs.
