Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with the immigration and customs procedures. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo, where you can check-in and relax after your flight.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your full-day tour of Cairo’s highlights. You will first visit the pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You will marvel at the magnificent structures built by the pharaohs over 4,000 years ago, and learn about their history and secrets. You will also see the Sphinx, the mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human’s head, guarding the pyramids.Next, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world. You will explore the treasures of the pharaohs, including the golden mask and coffin of Tutankhamun, the mummies of the royal family, and the statues of the gods and goddesses. You will also have the option to visit the Royal Mummy Room, where you can see the preserved bodies of some of the most famous rulers of Egypt (extra ticket required).After lunch at a local restaurant, you will continue your tour to Old Cairo, where you can see the oldest and most historic part of the city. You will visit the Coptic area, where you can see the Hanging Church, the oldest Christian church in Egypt, built on the ruins of a Roman fortress. You will also visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish temple in Cairo, where the legendary Geniza documents were found. You will then visit the Islamic area, where you can see the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval fortress that was the seat of power for many rulers. You will also visit the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, for its beautiful marble and domes.You will end your tour at Khan el-Khalili, the famous 14th-century market, where you can browse and buy souvenirs, handicrafts, spices, and jewelry. After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan, the southernmost city in Egypt. Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative who will take you to your sightseeing tour of Aswan’s attractions.You will first visit the High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that controls the flow of the Nile River and provides electricity and irrigation for the country. You will learn about the construction and the impact of the dam on the environment and the people.Next, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, a huge granite obelisk that was abandoned in the quarry due to a crack. You will see the marks of the ancient tools and techniques used to carve the obelisk, and wonder how they planned to transport and erect it.Then, you will take a motorboat to the Philae Temple, a beautiful complex dedicated to the goddess Isis, the mother of Horus and the wife of Osiris. You will admire the architecture and the reliefs of the temple After visiting the Philae Temple, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise ship, where you will check-in and enjoy your lunch. After breakfast on board, you will sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Kom Ombo Temple, a unique double temple dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility, and Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky. You will see the fascinating reliefs and inscriptions that depict the ancient beliefs and rituals, as well as the mummified crocodiles that were worshipped in the temple.After visiting the Kom Ombo Temple, you will return to your cruise ship and sail to Edfu, where you will visit the Edfu Temple, the best-preserved and the second-largest temple in Egypt. You will admire the impressive structure and the statues of Horus and Hathor, the goddess of love and joy. You will also learn about the legend of the conflict between Horus and his uncle Set, the god of chaos and evil.After visiting the Edfu Temple, you will return to your cruise ship and enjoy your lunch. You will also have the option to visit the tomb of Tutankhamun, where you can see his golden mask and coffin (extra ticket required).Next, you will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as the Deir el-Bahari, a stunning temple built by the first female pharaoh of Egypt, who ruled for 22 years and achieved many accomplishments. You will admire the architecture and the statues of the temple, and learn about the life and the achievements of Hatshepsut.Then, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues of Amenhotep III, who ruled Egypt during the peak of its power and glory. You will see the remains of the statues that once guarded his mortuary temple, and hear the legend of the singing statue that was believed to be the voice of Memnon, the son of the dawn goddess.After visiting the West Bank of Luxor, you will return to your cruise ship and enjoy your lunch.
