What is the best time to visit Egypt?

Egypt is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit depends on your preferences and activities. Generally, the winter months (October to April) are cooler and more comfortable for sightseeing, while the summer months (May to September) are hotter and more suitable for beach activities. However, the peak season also means higher prices and more crowds, so you may want to avoid the holidays and festivals if you prefer a quieter and cheaper trip.

What are the visa requirements for Egypt?

Most nationalities need a visa to enter Egypt, which can be obtained online, on arrival, or from an Egyptian embassy or consulate. The online visa (e-visa) is valid for 90 days and allows a single or multiple entry for up to 30 days each. The visa on arrival is also valid for 30 days and can be purchased at the airport for $25 USD. You will need a passport with at least six months of validity and a blank page for the visa stamp. For more information, please visit the official website of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

What are the tipping and bargaining practices in Egypt?

Bargaining is also a part of the culture and fun in Egypt, especially in markets and souvenir shops. You should always negotiate the price and compare different offers before buying anything. A good tip is to start with half of the asking price and work your way up to a reasonable amount.
